Cannot see storage on Nutanix

Running this View POC on Nutanix I have picked up on a few little issues and I thought that I would record them.

After a power cut we found that everything came back up ok, however we could not see the NFS datastores in VMware. They were listed as disconnected and you could not remount them. A refresh and rescan of storage also did not help.

Anyway, its quite a simple one, as the Nutanix CVM machines had not powered on, a simple power on of these VMs and we were back in business before you know it.

Everything is simple when you know how!

infrastructureguy, please search the Nutanix customer portal Knowledge Base for “Cluster-not-starting-automatically-after-ESX-reboots”

It is possible that the configuration or re-configuration of HA settings has disabled auto-start for the Controller VMs.

Thanks Kevin that’s probably what went wrong as HA was reconfigured. I am really impressed with your kit and whilst we are just doing a POC on view I actually think we should be looking at Nutanix instead of Cisco UCS or HP blades.
